Welcome Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Premier League as he signs a club record deal with Arsenal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a club-record fee of £56 million. The 28-year-old forward is believed to have signed a three-and-a-half-year deal that runs until 2021 and makes him the highest-paid player at the north London club on a massive £180,000-a-week. 

Arsenal sent a delegation of officials to Dortmund last week, led by chief executive Ivan Gazidis and head of recruitment Sven Mislintat, and a breakthrough in talks was finally made over the weekend.

For a long time, Dortmund tried to have Olivier Giroud included in the deal, but the Frenchman preferred to remain in London and is expected to join Chelsea, who in turn will allow Michy Batshuayi to move to BVB as Aubameyang’s replacement.
