Arsenal Close on signing Aubameyang, a deal that will make him (Aubameyang) their highest-paid player with £60m transfer imminent

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is currently Arsenal’s top earner having joined as part of the deal which took Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United last week. Bu the Armenian midfielder will be overtaken by Aubameyang if the Gabon international joins Arsenal.

Aubameyang has been offered a £180,000-per-week contract which runs until 2021.


Negotiations with Dortmund has been slow in progress and Dortmund had been unhappy with Arsenal and threatened to postpone the transfer until the summer. But after having two bids rejected, the Gunners’ latest offer has convinced Dortmund to sell and the deal is now expected to be completed.
